At Victory Church, We Believe…

The Scriptures are Inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons:

1. God the Father
2. God the Son
3. God the Holy Spirit

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.

In the blessed hope…the rapture of the Church before the Second Coming of Christ. Those who have died in Christ will rise up from their grave; all living Christians will be caught up with them, to be with the Lord.

The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.

The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.

In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. The process of sanctification is the maturing or perfecting of the love of God in the believer as taught in 1 Corinthians 13.

In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

In the practice of two ordinances:

1. Water baptism by immersion after the repentance of sin and salvation through Christ.
2. Holy Communion (the Lord’s Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death for us.
